Inspiration comes from travel, not unexpectedly - Matthew is a real globetrotter in Asia and South and Latin America as its primary objective. He has also worked in India when he was employed by high street chain Monsoon and Accessorize.
He has also freelanced as a designer for Marni. After a meeting with Plum Sykes, from the fashion magazine Vogue, he got the confidence to invest. His first collection consisted of only 11 pieces, and Kate Moss, Helena Christensen and Jade Jagger set up as models. The collection was a hit.
